Hokies, family and friends interested in traveling by bus to other home football, basketball games, or other activities, are asked to respond to a brief online survey. If there is sufficient interest, a bus package (without tickets) from a central Prince William location will be organized and information will be distributed. Interested? Welcome to the PWHOKIES Website! We are the Prince William Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, proudly serving the communities of Prince William County and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. The PW Hokies’ primary goals are to encourage scholarship of our community’s youth and volunteerism of the entire community. Over the last ten years, 46 scholarships have been awarded to 49 Tech-bound graduating seniors from high schools in the chapter's coverage area. The chapter encourages community service through its support of the Virginia Tech Big Event program; the American Red Cross and INOVA Blood Services; the Virginia Department of Transportation's Adopt-A-Highway program; and through its annual scholarship contest which emphasizes both accademics and community service. To ensure a balanced program and to attract new members, we also sponsor intellectual and social activities of broad interest to the community.

Support for the scholarship program comes primarily from the PW Hokies' Annual Golf Classic which has been held in the spring of each year. Over the last few years, the winning foursome has received invitations to compete in the Acura College Alumni Team Championship at Pinehurst this coming October. The fund raising success has been due to the generous support of the  players, the corporate sponsors, and local businesses who have donated goods and services. Over the years a special thanks goes out to Land Design Consultants, LLC, Bad To The Bone Smokhouse, Bone Fish, Confections Cupcakery, Miller Toyota, Capital Pension Services, Inc., Inviteme, and Acura for their continued annual sponsorships of our tournament.  Also, special thanks go to our more than 80 local businesses that have contributed goods and services for our silent auction. A full listing of sponsors and contributors will be posted on our golf website. Check this site frequently to learn more about sponsorship opportunities and details about future tournaments and activities.

We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events!
